- As it was decided to decorate according to the modern or contemporary theme, it was very important to get furniture in black and white which gave the modern or contemporary look
- Artwork or wall decor that will gel in with the furniture and the other hardware in the room
- Keeping the color psychology in mind, it was very important to keep the overall look of the living room welcoming and inviting despite using dark tones of black.
Ideas and inspirations:
Inspiration was countless. This is a theme that has been popular since time immemorial. There were thousands of ideas on the internet, Pinterest, and other social media. We thought of going for clean-lined furniture that will make the living space appear crisp with elegance quota at the maximum.
The black and white furniture would give the living room another level of depth and will also add an interesting visual appeal with the help of mixed and matched patterns and textures.
We thought this way, the design outcome would be intelligent and the overall living space would appear to be cozy and welcoming.

The mood board was according to the design that according to us was best for the living room space. We took the initial steps to make the lack and white concept appear brighter and up to the mark.
The mood board was created keeping in mind the vision of modern contemporary which has always been a favorite.
The concept was capitalized by the usage of decor, furniture, and finishes which were according to the theme. It was also decided that the adjacent dining room should also be given a little deception of the same color tones so that it looks like one palette.
A little tweak of black and white was also indulged in the walls so that they look part of the theme.
The addition of white symphony was MANDATORY- the off whites, charcoals, metallics, and grays played beautifully along the picturesque lines of the black and white theme.
