Project Scope

There is only one thing in the whole world better than an ice cream – a well-designed ice cream shop.

One of the world's leading ice cream brands, Haagen Dazs, approached us for their first outlet in Karachi!

This was a humongous task that Cubic Feet Design accepted graciously - execution of a project of international standard!

It is evident that when a client enters a dessert store, he is looking for refreshing treats, but the ambiance wins him over! It is up to the interior designer to play with colors and materials to satisfy the customer’s appetite for visual stimulation.

Project Details

The client wanted an interior that is up to the international standard of the ice cream brand. The color palette was decided to be kept pastel so that the vibrancy of the wall decor could be highlighted.

The theme was decided to be oak wood with a tinge of maroon color.

The walls were painted in brick texture shades, while illustrative paintings and artwork were placed across the space to groove up the ambiance.

It was decided that the wall décor would be the highlight of the ice cream parlor – making the customers enjoy the vibrancy and keep coming back for more.

The seating arrangement was once again of top-notch quality. According to the client’s demand, we arranged three different kinds of seating arrangements consisting of chairs, bar seating, and sofa seating.

The chair and table seating was done in pastel shades so that the life of the site could come out. The chairs were painted in pastel shades like aqua, light pink, off-white, etc.

Apart from the formal chair table seating, sofa seating was also designed to cater to clients of all ages. It gives a more comfortable seating.

Another kind of seating was a bar stool. These were installed for clients who would come up for a quick bite and just enjoy the taste of the ice cream. Now we come to the flooring and the lightning of the ice cream parlor.

Thanks to the large windows, ample natural light was coming into the salon space. While keeping this in mind, dim lights were used throughout the shop.

To complement the lightning, a concrete texture wooden floor was installed. This perfectly infused the ideology of an ice cream parlor of international standards.

To conclude, the theme of the ice cream parlor was oak wood with a tinge of maroon color here and there.

The client was happy with the final outcome just the way he had imagined. We thoroughly enjoyed working on this project.

The excitement was beyond our imagination! We are absolutely glad with the outcome and thankfully achieved another milestone of working with an international chain

– the first step towards new endeavors!
